The New Rock-Afire Explosion, Mampato Lo Barnechea (Let's Fun) In 1995, the Chilean amusement park Mampato, located in the commune of Lo Barnechea in Santiago, inaugurated an indoor family entertainment center named Let’s Fun. The concept of Let’s Fun closely mirrored that of American venues such as Chuck E. Cheese’s and ShowBiz Pizza Place, offering arcade machines, carnival-style attractions, bowling lanes, and a pizza-focused restaurant. One of its most significant features was the installation of an advanced animatronic show: The New Rock-afire Explosion, developed by Creative Engineering, Inc. (CEI) and led by engineer and inventor Aaron Fechter. This marked the only installation of the New Rock-afire Explosion in Chile and the second known CEI animatronic show installed in the country—the first being The Hard Luck Bears show at Mundo Mágico (later relocated to Fantasilandia).   Chuck E. Cheese´s Mall Plaza Vespucio (1996-2000) Opening and Location Chuck E. Cheese Plaza Vespucio opened in the fall of 1996. It opened as a "Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza" with the Showbiz Pizza Time 1992 Remodel, with the red and yellow awnings. The store was situated in a relatively isolated section of the Mall Plaza Vespucio. It was positioned adjacent to a Blockbuster Video and a ToyLand and it stood separately from the main mall structure. Interior Design and Unique Features The store’s interior reflected the typical design elements of the Concept Unification Era, incorporating the characteristic decor of the era. However, this location was distinguished by a unique combination of decorative elements and arcade machines originating from the earlier Pizza Time Theatre (PTT) era, making it a rarity within the chain during the late 1990s.
